"BAR means so much to me and I cannot imagine how different my life would be if I hadn’t rushed. Not only has BAR provided me with a community of some of my bestest/closest friends, but also a network of like-minded leaders who I can learn from and with. Beyond that, BAR has given me (and continues to give me) the resources to grow both professionally and personally. Moreover, one of my favorite aspects of BAR is our emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)! While most student organizations on campus “have” DEI, I am enthusiastic about the way BAR actively “does” DEI. As DEI chair and an executive board member, I hope to continue implementing and expanding BAR’s DEI initiatives as a foundation in our work."
Fun Fact: Haley spent part of the past summer in Rome, Italy studying political psychology!
