Internal Professional Development Chair: Ethan Lam

Pronouns: He/Him/His

About Ethan:

Ethan is a junior majoring in Economics with an intended minor in Business. He hopes to pursue a career in business law, specifically mergers and acquisition.

"I rushed BAR to find a community that had similar professional interests to me and find a community that could support my growth both as a freshmen in college and in my career. Today, I can see that I have found everything I wanted and much more within BAR. To me, BAR is a community of hard-working, supportive, and brilliant students who are always striving to be the best versions of themselves. At the same time, BAR members have a special commitment to helping one another in any way that we can. Whether it is through the close friendships we have made or the professional development network that anyone can call upon at any time, BAR members are generous. The most important thing that I have gained from BAR is invaluable mentorship. As part of the 2024-2025 e-board, I hope to give back to my beloved organization and I hope to help my fellow BAR members grow just like I did."

Outside of BAR, Ethan is also a part of Michigan Undergraduate Law Review, Michigan Business Law, Harvest Community Church, and is a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Soo Park, PLC.

Fun Fact: Ethan loves tennis, volleyball, piano, poker, board games, and can juggle!
