New Member Development Chair: Simran Singh

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

About Simran:

Simran is a junior majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a double minor in Business and Law, Justice, and Social Change. She intends to pursue a career in Intellectual Property Law in New York City.

"I rushed BAR because I wanted a tight-knit community to help make such a large campus a little bit smaller. I also had absolutely no idea how BCN intersected within the law, so I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to learn about the possibilities I could potentially pursue. Throughout my now 2 years in BAR, it has become my home. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t hangout with at least one BAR member, and this community has truly become my home away from home. My time at this university would be completely different without BAR, so I am very grateful to be in such an amazing organization. "

Outside of BAR Simran is the Education chair of Michigan Business Law, a member of the bioethics club, a member of the Indian-American-Student Association, and is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Fun Fact: Simran’s birthday is on St. Patricks Day!!
