Communications Chair: Shannon Schulte

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

About Shannon:

Shannon is a junior majoring in Organizational Studies and minoring in Law, Justice, and Social Change and the Cappo Sales Track. She is interested in family law and child advocacy work.

"Going into college I had a vague inkling that I might enjoy the legal field, however, I was unsure of what that even meant. I have no lawyers in the family, so the only exposure to law I had was pretty much limited to Suits. Joining BAR not only helped me to solidify what exactly the "field of law" means, but also what area of law specifically I would like to pursue (after BAR had a panel with family lawyers). Through this organization I was able to find both a professional and social community. Whether I am in need of someone to help me with interviews, look over applications or hang out on a Friday night, BAR is there."

Outside of Bar Shannon is a part of Michigan Advertising and Marketing, America Reads, Sunny.

Fun Fact: Shannon has a pet chicken named Pinecone!
